At "Popote Africa Adventures" with big respect for nature and life, we have been wondering on those paths ourselves and we wish to share our experience to create an unforgettable journey for you. We are able to accommodate different forms of interests, time frames as well as valid budgets.

Wildlife Safaris:

Tanzania will delight any person seeking a genuine safari experience. The Serengeti National Park with its seemingly endless plains, is one of the best wildlife resorts in the world and then there is the Ngorongoro Crater with its unbelievable density of animals. In the south lies Selous Game Reserve which, at the size of Switzerland, is the largest game reserve in the world. It is here that you will get to experience incredible wildlife viewing, with great sightings of the endangered African Wild Dog, amongst other animals. While in the west of the country you will also find Mahale National Park and Gombe Stream, which was made famous by Jane Goodall and her chimpanzee research.

Trekking Kilimanjaro:

Mount Kilimanjaro lies on the border of Tanzania and Kenya, just south of the Equator. To the west lies the Great African Rift Valley, created by tremendous tectonic forces which also gave birth to a string of other volcanoes. The three summits of Mount Kilimanjaro, Shira, Kibo and Mawenzi are all of very recent origin. Shira and Mawenzi both have suffered considerable erosion and only jagged peaks remain. Kibo, the central, youngest and highest peak has survived as an almost perfect cone.
